War on Iraq Feb15 '02
Apparently an attack on Iraq by the U.S. is closer than we all think. I believe something will happen this year. It seems every time I read news somewhere, there is more and more evidence of the U.S. threatening to overthrow Saddam. I think we should definitely NOT do this. The Pakistani president, if you remember, back in September, claimed the U.S. is the "global bully." Well, I don’t know what happened to that guy, but he is right – if we attack Iraq. Unless Saddam provokes a war, then I don’t support attacking just to support public opinion. I would love to see Saddam dead, but the cost may be too high for the U.S., especially if we don’t have allies.
