A beer a day keeps the doctor away? Jan04 '03

I think it was in either the Tribune or the Sun–Times today... There was an article that talked about how those who drink just one beer a day for a long period of time are at less risk of having a major heart complication – such as heart attack or heart disease. Somehow, these scientists have proven that something in beer actually stops that fatty stuff from clogging your arteries. Well, it doesn’t get rid of the fatty stuff – it just doesn’t let it get to the arteries in the first place.

I swear they keep coming up with more and more garbage every day.

Exercise is good for you, Exercise is bad for you; Beer is bad for your health, Beer is great for your health; Cell phones can cause brain cancer, Cell phones are completely safe.

Every day there’s new results that contradict previous results. Who to believe?! Who to listen to??? Oh, just go have a beer and relax. Life is too short.
