New music Tuesdays May20 '03
There’s lots of new music out that I’m liking a lot.
Live has a new album out today, Birds of Pray, which I heard is really good. And that is spelled right. It’s PRAY, not PREY. Don’t ask. They must be into religion a lot. Of course, I won’t know if I like it for sure till I hear the whole thing. The iTunes music store has the album for download for $9.99. I may just download it all. I’m sick of buying new CDs.
Also, I heard of a guy named Rhett Miller on Chicago’s XRT radio station. There was one song, Come Around, which I really liked. So I am downloading some Rhett Miller this morning too.
The iTunes music store is fantastic. You have to pay per download, but you get high quality, full version songs, just like off the albums. And you don’t have to deal with ads, wait time, or corrupted files. That happens a lot with Kazaa.
It’s certainly a good new music Tuesday.
