A few off–the–wall thoughts I’ve had lately:
- When I write a real letter, with paper and ink, I feel like I’m being transported back in time in Marty and Doc’s time machine from Back To The Future. Not only does it feel ancient, I get pen ink all over my hand! I forgot what that was like! And since I am a left–handed writer, it seems I am smearing more than I should be. Man, is it sloppy to write letters. I don’t know how people still do it that way!
- Public bathrooms should have either loud music playing, or "whooshing" water sounds being played over and over. The reason is obvious. Why do I want to hear someone else going to the bathroom, or have someone hear me?! Plus, it’s so much easier to physically go to the bathroom when there’s sounds that are blocking everything else out.
- Trinkets and objects of affection, for lack of better words, are the things loved ones give to each other. This includes pictures in frames, notes, or that little snow globe that she bought you in that romantic place you stayed... (uuh, something like that). My point is that these things just give you an excuse to throw them when things go wrong! It’s true. It’s dangerous to put anything on your desk or dresser from your significant other. You will only end up either breaking it or throwing it when love has it’s moments (which it always does). So, for me, I just keep everything in a big Target bag, and toss it in the closet. (Boy, am I gonna be in trouble for this one)
And below are some of my favorite tag–lines (because I love the food, and it’s so true!):
- Get your own box. (Cheez–It)
- Gather ‘round the good stuff. (Pizza Hut)
- Get lost in a Reeses (Reeses Peanut Butter Cups)
Mmmmm, doesn’t that make you hungry? I sure am.
