Hurricane Frances Sep02 '04
It looks as if another hurricane will roll through Orlando, and Daytona Beach – just a week after we arrived from those exact locations.
I feel like I know a little more about what it’s like to make it through this type of natural disaster, since I just recently survived Charley.
I also feel very bad for the residents of Florida – they have to go through that whole "fear process" again, and this time it looks to be much worse.
I bet most of the cleanup from Charley has been completed, and now everything will be partially destroyed again. It’s too bad.
It’s understandable that these seasonal occurences happen in coastline states, such as Florida, but that doesn’t make the experience any less troublesome, or costly.
Also, Nicole (Michelle’s sister) lives and works for Disney, in Orlando, and when you know someone that close to it all, the fear hits home.
I am praying for all those nice people down there, that made our vacation wonderful. I hope everything turns out OK.
And, Nicole, you’re first in my thoughts too.
