Netflix notifications via RSS only! Dec01 '04
When Netflix receives a DVD that you sent back, they send out an email. And when they ship you the next DVD on your list, they send out another email.
This is a great way to let customers know that the service is non–stop.
The problem is... I get these notifications every day. And they’re not really urgent things. They don’t NEED to be in my email inbox.
Thankfully, Netflix offers RSS feeds for all such notices, which I subscribe to:

This is handy, because it stays in my newsreader, and doesn’t continually bog down my email inbox.
Since RSS is available, I would like to get rid of Netflix Ship/Receive Notifications via email – permanently. However, it doesn’t seem to be an option.
I looked everywhere in my account at the Netflix site, and I can’t find anything.
Does anyone know a way to discontinue email notifications from Netflix?
