New Firefox version, or bust Feb26 '05
I seriously hope the latest version of Firefox improves on some loopholes, because I am thinking about dumping it, on the Mac.
Firefox works great on Windows. But with a Mac, it doesn’t "blend well" with the system. It doesn’t feel very "Mac like."
Also, it has so many irritations – such as tabbed browsing, which is always a headache. And sometimes the address bar freezes, leaving the same URL there, even though I am visiting other pages. How’s that for a UI?
I am going to give this latest version (1.0.1) a try. If nothing improves, I may switch back to Safari, or Opera, or any other browser that anyone suggests, for the Mac.
