Tiger discount and Prime shipping Mar29 '05
As mentioned at Daring Fireball, Amazon is offering a $35 discount on Mac OS X Tiger, which is set to be released "early 2005" – meaning anytime within the next month or two.
This discount is very nice. The normal price is $129.00, which has been the price for all previous Apple operating system upgrades, such as Jaguar and Panther.
The $129.00 drops down to $95, which is a very generous discount.
And since I already have Amazon Prime, I can get free two–day shipping, or have it sent overnight for only $4.00.
I may not be able to contain my eagerness to try out the new OS, so the overnight option might be the most logical.
