It’s hard remembering usernames, not passwords Oct31 '05
I posted a while back about the clutter of managing dozens (if not hundreds) of usernames and passwords, for web sites, applications, etc.
At this point in time (although I haven’t counted), I probably have at least 100 username/password combinations to remember.
Well... lately, it seems that I have a harder time remembering the username, rather than the password. The password is easy to remember - because I keep the same one for everything.
But the username is almost different for every single application I use. Although I try to keep my username the same, as well - most applications don’t allow under 6 characters; without a number; at least two capitals - hell, why don’t they just supply me with the password, since they are intent on making it so strict?
