Router troubles Nov11 '05
I’m experiencing some router troubles today, so I won’ be available much (IM, email, blog) - until this gets fixed.
My LinkSYS router is flaking out - the red dialog light stays on, even after I shut the power down, and restart. That tells me that it could be dying.
Not a problem! I have another router, from my Dad, that has many more ports than the LinkSYS one, anyway.
But....... that one is not responding either. Argh!
The only way I can get a network connection is if I plug my cable modem directly into the computer. If I use a "middle man," (aka a router), the connection flakes out.
So, if you need me - drop me a text message, or email at 2246285979 AT tmomail.net.
