Office holiday party Dec14 '05
Tonight is the holiday party for my office - in fact, all offices for our company - except for our Eagan, Minnesota office.
Since I am still "new," I’m looking forward to getting to know my co-workers under a "different light," as opposed to always being in the office, under work circumstances.
It’s always interesting to see how a few drinks can change someone’s persona - for the better, that is.
It’s going to be even more interesting tonight - simply because we’re expected to get 4-7 inches of snow - much like last week’s debacle. It’s before 9 AM, and the snow is already cascading down. By noon, it should be pretty heavy. And by 6... have a good night.
I can honestly say it’s snowed more, here in Chicago, the past two weeks, than it did all last winter.
In any case, provided we all make it to Champps safely, it should be a very lively evening.
