In-N-Out Burger Mar20 '06
Yesterday, Michelle and I made our "first ever" trip to In-n-Out Burger, here in southern California.
I was very excited, to say the least.
For years, I’ve heard how In-N-Out is the "best burgers in the west," and how McDonald’s is nothing out here. Many people have "raved" about In-N-Out, so we just had to stop in!
I’m not exactly sure of the history of In-N-Out, but I do know it’s only located in the western states of California, Nevada, and Arizona.
While in the restuarant, I was shaking uncontrollably with sheer joy and adrenaline, and I proceeded to shake all of the workers hands. (just kidding)
Actually, I was impressed to be actually inside an In-N-Out Burger joint. It’s just an icon out here. It’s something we won’t ever see, back in Chicago.
And the food itself? Greasy, to say the least. But... Michelle commented afterward:
It was a good kind of grease. I don’t feel sick to my stomach, like I do with McDonald’s.
So there you have it, ladies and gentleman. Good grease.
I will be stopping back into In-N-Out sometime soon, before we leave, to get a t-shirt, and possibly my picture, inside the store. Geeky, yes. Nerdy - yeah, that too. But I am a nerd.
