I haven’t abandoned my Music section, I have just been re-writing the back-end. I also haven’t abandoned listening to music, so what follows is a random sampling of what’s been rolling through my head lately (and my iPod) - in no particular order:
- You Wouldn’t Like Me - Tegan and Sara ("So Jealous," 2004)
- I love this opening track - it so "plush" with seriously cool guitar riffs. Very nice.
- "Being There" - Wilco (1996)
- Ten years old, still incredibly diverse, and full of ideas. Really good work.
- The Only Living Boy In New York - Simon & Garfunkel ("Garden State" soundtrack, 2004)
- Simply brilliant.
- A Higher Place - Tom Petty ("Wildflowers," 1994)
- Solid rock vibes.
- "Kid A" - Radiohead (2000)
- An album that just "sounds."
- No Goodbyes - The Subways ("Young For Eternity," 2006)
- New rock. Good attitude.
- "On The Outside" - Starsailor (2005)
- Why wasn’t this album released in the U.S.? I don’t know... but it is worth the $30 import fee.
