Sox game tonight May09 '06
I’m heading down to U.S. Cellular Field ("The Cell") ( Flickr ) this evening for the Sox and Angels.
I am a Cubs fan, but I never turn down the opportunity to see baseball played. And I love "The Cell." It’s a pretty ballpark. It’s an actual modern ballpark, as opposed to Wrigley, which, despite it’s ambiance, is a dump. The bathrooms are disgusting, and the place is just generally falling apart. Not to knock the Cubs or Wrigley Field - I already mentioned I’m a Cubs fan - but the park is sometimes gross.
I like the "modern" ballparks, and I’d like to travel to St. Louis to see their new ballpark ( Flickr ).
In any case, tonight should be fun.
