Ta-Da lists Jun13 '06
I use Ta-Da lists for everything.
The most important part about Ta-Da lists is that they aren’t burdened down with features. Things are kept very simple. After all, the work itself is enough. It shouldn’t become a burden to simply keep track of that work.
Ta-Da lists are so quick when adding an item.
Throughout the workday, I get dozens of new things to do. I have barely a few seconds to jot them down, before I move onto the actual work.
With Ta-Da lists, I can quickly (like mere seconds) add an item, and re-order it to the top, if it’s priority.
If the Ta-Da list interface was just a second slower, I probably would not use them.
I’m also really impressed with the server speed, on which Ta-Da lists are posted.
Occasionally I’ll get kicked off, and have to re-enter my username and password - but overall, everything loads quick.
Specfically, with long lists.
My "work Ta-Da list" contains about 50 to-do’s, and about 75 "completed." This all loads in mere seconds.
I am anxious to see how large my list can be, before it affects performance.
