Working for a Park District Jun15 '06

I’ve worked for a few park districts, health clubs, and community centers in my life, so far, and I’d really like to do it again.

Of course, when I worked there, I wasn’t exaclty working in my field, but maybe the next time around, I can find a job for a park district, in my field. After all, park districts have web sites. And perhaps many of them would like to use the web as a tool, more often. For example - registering for classes on the web.

Park districts are just so laid-back. I really miss that atmosphere from when I did "customer service" work.

It’s nothing like the "corporate world," where everything is always so tense.

I like the more laid-back atmosphere of park districts.
