I am excited for movies this weekend, where normally I don’t go near theatres.

Nothing else but Pirates of the Caribbean ("Dead Man’s Chest:" IMDB) comes out this weekend, which may make me venture just a bit closer to a theatre.

I’m looking forward to more of Johnny Depp’s waddling humor, Orlando Bloom’s heroic eagerness, Geoffrey Rush’s intense stares and dialogue, and Keira Knightley’s frantically bold determination.

These actors are certainly talented - but above all else, they are just having fun, in these Pirates movies.

I think many people were shocked at the first Pirates movie - just how good it was. It really caught me off guard. I sat down thinking I was going to see an "OK" movie, but I was so jittery at the end, I couldn’t believe it.

Such a great two hours.

Let’s hope the sequel is just as "lively."
