Yahoo! YUI Library direct access Feb23 '07

Yahoo! is now allowing developers to reference the entire YUI Library directly from their own sites. Previously, you had to download the source files, and upload them to your own host.

Yahoo! is going to host them for you. All you have to do is reference the files in your own web pages.

For example, if I want to include the Menu Control on my own web pages, I simply write this line of JavaScript:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://yui.yahooapis.com/2.2.0/build/menu/menu-min.js"></script>

I think this is an interesting way to quickly have access to powerful scripting controls and features, such as Drag & Drop, Calendars, and AutoComplete.
