Pete Yorn / Aqualung: Riviera Theatre Mar02 '07

Saturday evening I will be attending Pete Yorn and Aqualung at Chicago's Riviera Theatre.

"The Riv" is a fantastic venue for a great overall concert experience. Many describe it as "intimate," meaning your proximity to the stage, and the excellent sound allows you to become fully absorbed in the performance.

The best show I saw there was the Foo Fighters, on January 9, 2001, which was - wow - six years ago already. Dave Grohl really captivated the audience, and I was supremely in awe - the entire show.

See if you can find my head in this picture - I'm in there somewhere!

I am thinking Pete Yorn won't quite top that Foo Fighters performance at "The Riv," but it might be close.
