Looking to do more with my photos Apr23 '07
Lately I've been getting bored with Flickr. Not so much Flickr itself (it's a very useful web site), but the process of uploading photos - and then having them just sit there for eternity - not doing anything useful.
I'd like to do more with my photos, rather than having them collect "virtual dust."
Sure, I can put my photos in Sets, and put my Sets in Collections. I can create my own Flickr Groups, or join existing Groups, entertaining the social aspect of photo-sharing.
I've even looked at the Do more with your photos section of Flickr, but I'm still not inspired.
I need more. I need new things to do with my photos - interesting and "wow" things.
(This argument is somewhat pathetic, because as a web user - specifically in this era of "web 2.0," I am very impatient and I get bored fast.)
I don't quite know what I'm looking for, but I know I haven't found it yet.
