Google Docs appearance update Jun28 '07
Google recently released a new version of Docs & Spreadsheets. I always welcome updates to Google products, because they're never satisfied with anything. They always push the limits of web development, and the overall capabilities of web applications.
Looks like Notebook
The new Docs & Spreadsheets now strikes a similar resemblance to the sister application, Google Notebook.

Notice the ability to navigate your notes or docs on the left side, and the individual items on the right side.
Tags, folders, or labels?
Tags are now called folders, and naturally appear with folder icons.
I wish Google would make up their minds on this. Sometimes they call it "tags," other times "folders," and other times "labels."
Dynamic search auto-fill

The dynamic search auto-fill finds docs as you type. This helps when you have hundreds or thousands of docs.
Note: this only searches for documents titles - not the text within the document. So make sure to title your documents descriptively.
Drag and Drop

You can drag and drop docs onto different folders - more than one folder, in fact (but only one at a time). So, in a way, Docs has the appearance of folders, but with the capabilities of tags (one-to-many relationship).
Trash
When you delete a doc, it now goes to the trash, instead of disappearing immediately. I suspect it sits in the trash for 30 days, before leaving this Earth, but I could be wrong. It might stay there forever.
As well as...
As far as extended features, such as uploading via email, there still is no way to email spreadsheets in. You can currently email Word or textual documents in, which is handy for inter-office archiving.
This seems to be more of an appearance upgrade, than a functional upgrade.
