It's easy to get my money Sep13 '07

Kevin Keating talks about how easy it is to get his money, and how sites and services just don't seem to want it.

Please, please, please make it as easy as possible for me to give you my money.

Come on, I’m begging you. Look - mooooooooooooooooney!!!!!!

There's a lot of good points made here. The services that I buy from most frequently are the ones that give me the most control, with the least amount of typing and redundancy.

It's really a simple formula. Too bad most sites and services have yet to master it.

Amazon has it right. With Prime shipping service, eligible items can be purchased with a single click:

I can't tell you how refreshing it is to click once, and be entirely finished with the transaction process. It takes less than a second, and already I'm back to what I was doing. I don't want to think about it - I just want it done and sent. Boom.

And this doesn't just apply to web sites. It applies to any service or establishment wanting my money. Don't make me stand in line, or otherwise have to work to give my money.

Perhaps this is why I'm starting to like services such as Redbox, and why I dislike processes such as buying a car.
