To-Do list and task manager web sites

I've never really been into "To-Do list" services on the web, such as Remember The Milk. I always thought such applications required more work than simply remembering to do it.

It turns out Remember The Milk has made some significant strides since I last looked at it. I may attempt to start using it for my universal To-Do list and task manager (which right now is stored amongst several applications, including my own head).

I'd like something that communicates well with existing tools I already use, such as Twitter and Google Calendar. I'd also like the ability to send To-Do items via SMS, while on the road.

Remember The Milk integrates with Twitter, so I can easily send updates to my Twitter account and have those items appear under my Remember The Milk task list. Nice!

Even better, I can get reminders via Twitter, for each of my To-Do items. Since Twitter works with SMS and IM, I'm never too detached from receiving a reminder.

Remember The Milk also offers RSS feeds, iCal calendars, and even offline access, using Google Gears.

Speaking of Google Calendar...

It sounds like Google is close to adding a Task list feature to Google Calendar, which would be right up my alley, since I use Calendar already.

I wouldn't want to dedicate valuable learning hours on another product, such as Remember The Milk, only to have Google come out with a smash-hit, killer product for keeping track of To-Do items.

I suppose I can't wait forever though, and it's better to start using something now, than to rely on vague details of a possible Google Calendar To-Do list integration. In the end, Remember The Milk may still offer a better product anyway.
