Reminder: prepare your wish lists Nov08 '07
Be careful what you wish for. You may get it.
As we approach the holiday season, it's wise to make sure your Amazon Wish List is ready to go. A while back I wrote some tips on how to effectively manage and maintain your wish list.
Most importantly:
- Remove any items that you don't absolutely want to see in your hands on Christmas morning, or that are no longer available at the Amazon store.
- Prioritize your wish list items so gift-givers know which items you want most.
It's important to be prudent. Even if an item casually peaks your interest, it may not exactly be something you want right now. If it's on your list, someone may get it, so it's best to remove it entirely, or move it to another wish list.
Amazon also offers a few tips.
