Archiving Gmail on iPhone through IMAP

I love Gmail's web interface, and in most cases I prefer to use that over a dedicated email desktop client - except on the iPhone. The iPhone's Mail client feels much more responsive and easier to access than having to load another Safari tab for Gmail's web interface. One aspect of Gmail I missed when using the iPhone Mail client is the ability to simply "Archive" messages - that is, remove it from the inbox, but do not delete it, nor require that I put it in a folder. For a long time I simply thought this was not possible using Gmail over IMAP. Turns out you can just move the message to the All Mail folder, and it's the same thing as clicking "Archive" in the Gmail web interface:
