File this under “annoying RSS feed traits” if you want, but lately when I view Mashable’s RSS feed in Google Reader (which is only when there’s absolutely nothing else to read), the beginning text is all mashed to the right of the leading image (see text inside green box below):

I know it’s “Mashable,” but I didn’t know they meant that literally!

p>The reason for this, it seems, is the first paragraph does not have

tags around it (when I load the full article on the actual site):

So it essentially floats up to the right of the image in Google Reader, making it extremely hard to read.
