I noticed this new addition to Amazon wish lists:

Sometimes I want something but I am not sure exactly what model or brand, so I want to add an arbitrary wish list item instead of picking a specific product.

Clicking “Top search results” just searches the Amazon site, but it’s still a quick way to jot down what you want before forgetting.
